This roller has the brush strips that are in red plastic with 10.3 mm gold bristles.
Fits most models Riccar N2000, 1970, 8650, 8905, 4512, 4812, R800, R500, R700, R600, R800C and Vibrance models.

Your older vacuum might use the roller with the black brush strips with gold 9 mm bristles. That roller (D012-0000D) is no longer made and is replaced by this roller. This roller replaces all non-clutch rollers from many Simplicty and Riccar models that used the older black brush strips.
