Riccar RF27 includes one pleated-HEPA post-filter and one granulated charcoal secondary filter. If someone in your household suffers from allergies, it is recommended you change the filtes after every six vacuum bags. Otherwise the filter set should be replaced every year or after using 12 vacuum bags, whichever comes first.
